President Tinubu Appoints Two New Permanent Secretaries in Federal Civil Service
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.
The announcement was made on Wednesday in a statement issued by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Meet the Newly Appointed Officials
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
- Adeladan Rafiu Olarinre (representing Oyo State)
- Mukhtar Yawale Muhammed (representing the North-West geopolitical zone)
Their selection followed a rigorous and transparent process, underscoring the administration’s commitment to professionalism, merit, and efficiency in governance.

The new officials have been encouraged to bring their expertise and leadership skills to enhance government operations and contribute to national development.

Recent Appointments in Key Government Positions
This announcement comes shortly after President Tinubu approved the appointment of Shamsedeen Babatunde Ogunjimi as the new Accountant General of the Federation. Ogunjimi’s appointment, finalized on Tuesday, takes effect on March 7, 2025, following the retirement of the incumbent, Oluwatoyin Madehin.
