President Bola Tinubu expressed profound sadness upon learning about the passing of two of Nigeria’s beloved comic actors, John Okafor, widely known as Mr Ibu, and Quadri Oyebamiji, fondly called Sisi Quadri.

In a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Tinubu extended condolences to the families of these talented actors who brought joy and relief to millions of Nigerians through their artistry.

He urged the bereaved to find comfort in the fact that despite their departure, the legacy of these cherished individuals lives on through their works, serving as a source of inspiration and happiness for many.

Tinubu also conveyed his condolences to the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), and the entire creative community, assuring them of his support, thoughts, and prayers during this time of mourning.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed souls and comfort for all those grieving their loss.
