Victoria “The Prodigy” Lee, a rising undefeated MMA star who competed in the ONE Championship in Asia, died last month, according to her family. She was only 18 years old.

Angela Lee, Lee’s older sister and MMA fighter broke the sad news on Instagram on Saturday, saying Victoria died on December 26.

“She left us far too soon, and our family has been devastated ever since,” Angela wrote in the caption. “We are missing her. More than anything else in the universe. Our family will never be the same after this. Nothing will ever be the same again.”

Angela went on to say that her baby sister was the best person she knew… and she was stunning on the inside and out.

“We adore Victoria. Sprout, I adore you. Until the end of time, that is.”

Lee was a rising mixed martial artist… but she recently put her career on hold to finish high school.

Chatri Sityodtong, CEO of ONE Championship, described her as an “extraordinary martial arts prodigy” who has “watched her blossom over the years as a martial artist and a human being.”

“Victoria will be remembered for the beautiful and precious soul that she was. Victoria, may you rest in peace. We are all going to miss you.” Victoria was also an IMMAF Junior State and World Champion, as well as a Junior World Champion.

Victoria’s brothers, Christian and Adrian, are also MMA fighters, in addition to Angela. Lee had a 3-0 record and dedicated her last victory to her parents.

“I am so lucky to have such incredible parents,” Lee wrote on Instagram. “This victory is entirely yours, mom and dad.”
