Despite initial reports, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not attend this year’s, Met Gala. They were thinking about going and making an appearance with all of their celebrity friends from Hollywood. However, due to their ongoing feud with the rest of the Royal Family, they have reportedly decided not to attend the event. The Daily Mirror reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not attend the ceremony, which takes place just five days before King Charles III’s coronation. This is a significant hint as to whether the royal couple will attend the other ceremony in London.

Does this mean Meghan and Harry will attend the coronation?

As previously reported, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been invited to King Charles III’s coronation. There is currently no confirmation that they will attend, but the fact that they did not attend the Met Gala is a major hint as to what they may choose to do during the month of May. According to another report, the couple was left off the Met Gala guest list due to their ongoing feud with the Royal Family. An event to which only the most prestigious names are invited and which frequently provides a significant boost to their careers when they attend. Every year, this annual event is by far the most popular ticket in the country.

If they are invited to the Met Gala, The Mirror reports that they will not attend due to the proximity of the king’s coronation. Prince Harry may be planning to attend his father’s event simply to show his support. Following the uproar caused by Prince Harry’s memoir, the couple appears to have decided to shift gears in terms of how they present themselves to society. One of their top priorities right now is to reduce tensions between them and the Royal Family. Prince Harry has stated repeatedly that he wants to make amends with his family, and this is exactly how they can do so.
