Fuji music legend Saheed Osupa has showered praise on Grammy-winning star Burna Boy after the Afrobeats singer described him as his “greatest musician of all time” (GOAT).
Burna Boy made the revelation during a recent chat with tennis icon Roger Federer, where he said many of his musical inspirations come from Fuji, naming Osupa among his personal greats.
Responding on his 𝕏 page, Osupa expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, calling it a monumental moment not just for him, but for Fuji music as a whole. He noted that Burna’s tribute puts a global spotlight on the genre’s soul, heritage, and timeless influence.
According to him, the honour doesn’t only celebrate his personal journey, but also bridges generations by connecting Fuji to wider audiences around the world.
