Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, whose real name is Oluseyi Aletile, has responded to recent allegations linking him to cultism.
An X user shared a video of men dancing at a party and claimed that Seyi Law was among them, asserting that he is a top member of the cult group Eiye. The post also suggested that cult membership is widespread in the Southwest region of Nigeria.
The post stated, “So @seyilaw1 is a supreme Eiye member. Almost everyone in the Southwest is Eiye.”
In his response, Seyi Law clarified that he was not featured in the video and expressed concern that any legal action he might take against the accuser could be perceived as oppression. He wrote, “I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression.”
