It didn’t take long for Shakira’s new song, ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53,’ to become a hit, with the song reaching as many as 122 million streams in its first weekend.

Following the breakup of the former couple last year, the famous singer takes jabs at former partner Gerard Pique and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia, in her new single.

The morning show ‘El Programa de Ana Rosa’ on Telecinco examined how much money Shakira has made since releasing the song.

She has earned 512,000 dollars from YouTube, 500,000 dollars from Amazon, 360,000 dollars from Spotify, and up to 1,200,000 dollars from Apple, according to reports.

How much money has Shakira made from ‘Te felicito’, ‘Monotonia’, and ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53’?

The Spanish TV show also revealed how much money Shakira made from her last three songs, all of which were released following her divorce from Pique.

“With ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53,’ Shakira has made over $2,500,000 in four days,” they wrote.

“As for the other recent songs in which she also makes reference to the ex-footballer, ‘Te felicito’, which was released in April 2022, has more than 445,000 million streams, generating about 10 million dollars.

“‘Monotonia,’ featuring Ozuna, was released two months ago and has 166 million streams, translating to $3,554,000 in earnings.”

Shakira is estimated to have earned approximately $15 million and counting from the songs in which she made references to Pique.

The former Barcelona defender signed a sponsorship deal with Renault and Casio, two of the brands mentioned in Shakira’s new song.

Both the singer and the former footballer appear to be looking to make as much money as possible as they navigate their divorce. Following the release of her new song with Karol G, Shakira’s earnings are expected to skyrocket.
