The precise cause of Takeoff’s unexpected demise has been made public a day after he passed away.
The Migos musician, 28, was shot numerous times, according to the Harris County Medical Examiner, and died as a result of “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and chest into the arm.”
The coroner’s inquiry is over, according to TMZ, and Takeoff’s body is prepared for collection for funeral services.
After a dispute outside a bowling alley in Houston early on Tuesday morning, Takeoff was slain in a shooting. Before the shots were fired, a man can be seen carrying a gun in the video. A person is a person of interest in the shooting investigation, according to the police.
The other members of Takeoff’s Migos group have not yet addressed his passing, however, Offset changed his Instagram name to Takeoff. A statement from Quality Control Music lamented the “monumental loss” as well.

Hip-hop artists such as Drake and Desiigner have also paid their respects, with the latter declaring in an upsetting video that he is done with rap in the aftermath of the tragedy.
