Fans and friends reacted angrily when he announced his third marriage. Chikere had private conversations with his first ex-wife, Sophia Williams, who congratulated him on his recent wedding. He also shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with his second ex-wife, Nuella Njubigbo, to show that they are still friendly.
Chikere explained that his first marriage to Sophia ended because of age differences. He was in his early twenties and she was 18 at the time. He also responded to those who chastised him for remarrying so soon after his second marriage ended.
