In Nigeria, the final day of campaigning for Saturday’s presidential election has begun. In Africa’s most populous country, three candidates are thought to have a chance of winning. It is expected to be the most competitive election since military rule ended in 1999.

All parties have agreed to settle any disagreements through the courts.

A third leading contender has emerged in addition to the candidates from the two main parties, the ruling All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party.

On social media, young activists have flocked to Labour Party candidate Peter Obi.
