The Nollywood actress came to the singer’s defense after he faced criticism online for using his father’s private jet. According to her, the backlash is nothing short of “witchcraft energy.”
Taking to her social media, Anita didn’t mince words: “Davido’s flying his father’s jet and some of you are angry? Seriously? That’s pure witchcraft. Let people live their lives. You can’t be broke and bitter—pick a struggle.”
She urged critics to stop obsessing over someone else’s blessings and focus on their own journey.
The controversy began after Davido, known for his unapologetic display of his billionaire upbringing, was once again dragged for flying in style. But the music star wasn’t having any of it.
In a clapback on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter), Davido reminded everyone that using his family’s jet isn’t a flex—it’s simply his reality.
“It’s my birthright,” he tweeted in response to a user who accused him of flaunting wealth. Then, with his signature humor, he added, “In my next life, I’ll be a vulcaniser. Maybe that’ll make y’all happy.”
