Tink took to Instagram Live to share a troubling encounter involving herself and renowned producer Hitmaka. The R&B artist began by describing her distressing experience, expressing her need to defend herself during the incident.
Her video began with a sense of frustration as she exclaimed, “I usually keep to myself, so when I speak up, it’s because it’s necessary, you know?” She continued, “So, understand this, Hitmaka, your actions are unacceptable. If you think about releasing that video of me in the car, I’ll have to reveal everything, and everyone will know the truth.”

Tink’s startling and somewhat cryptic remarks didn’t end there. She went on to assert, “I’m aware of your behavior. The record label is aware of your behavior, so just leave me alone.” She later reminded her audience that she has a genuine heart but emphasized that she won’t allow a repeat of a similar situation from her past.
Additionally, Tink mentioned that she wanted to reassure her fans about her upcoming music, even though the details are uncertain at this point. Her primary message was a call for her fans’ support and solidarity, should the alleged car incident video be released.
Fans reacted with various responses in the comments section of The Shade Room post. One supporter noted, “Tink rarely speaks out on the internet, so when she does, I believe her.” Another commenter pointed out, “This isn’t his first controversial incident. He has a history of violent interactions with women, which are part of public records. It’s baffling that people continue to collaborate with him in this era of cancel culture.”
Tink mentioned in her video that she had heard warnings about working with Hitmaka but had initially dismissed them as she couldn’t see what everyone was talking about. She concluded her video by revealing, “I’ve been dealing with this since May.”
It’s worth noting that Tink’s recent album was executive produced by Hitmaka and features collaborations with artists such as Ty Dolla $ign and Yung Bleu.
