The late Sen. Ayogu Eze served as a representative for Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the Senate from 2007 to 2015.
President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences to the Eze family following Sen. Ayogu Eze’s passing.
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, conveyed this message in a statement on Thursday in Abuja. Sen. Ayogu Eze represented Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the Senate from 2007 to 2015.
Ngelale noted that during Sen. Eze’s tenure in the Senate, he held various significant positions, including Committee Chairman on Information and Media and Chairman of the Committee on Works, among others.
The president also extended his sympathies to friends, associates, and former colleagues of the deceased, including the National Assembly as an institution. Tinubu prayed to God Almighty to grant the departed soul eternal rest and comfort to those mourning the loss.
