So far, official results from Nigeria’s presidential election show that ruling party candidate Bola Tinubu is dominating in his southern strongholds.
He has won three states in the region and narrowly lost a fourth to the main opposition candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
However, delays in receiving results from 32 other states and the capital, Abuja, have increased frustration.
The electoral commission has apologized for the inactivity of its results viewing the page on its website, blaming it on a surge in traffic.
