Nigerian philanthropist Olakunle Churchill, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has announced the passing of his mother. Churchill shared the sad news on Instagram on Monday, referring to his mother as his “first wife.”
He posted, “My First Wife Is Gone Forever,” prompting an outpouring of condolence messages from Nigerian celebrities and fans.
In related news, Churchill recently praised Lisa Yaro, his alleged side chick, amidst rumors of marital issues with his current wife, Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer.
Reports from an Instagram blog suggested that Churchill is romantically involved with Lisa Yaro, whom he publicly refers to as his sister, and that plans for their traditional marriage are in progress.
Churchill took to Instagram to commend Lisa for her humanitarian efforts, highlighting her work with displaced persons in Abuja. He praised her dedication, noting that she left her comfortable life abroad to contribute to the growth of society in Nigeria.
