Tottenham Hotspur’s coach, Antonio Conte, has been fired.
The Italian’s departure from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium comes more than a week after his explosive post-match press conference outburst following Southampton’s 3-3 draw.
“We can announce that Head Coach Antonio Conte has left the Club by mutual agreement,” Spurs said in a statement late Sunday night. In Antonio’s first season at the Club, we qualified for the Champions League. We appreciate Antonio’s contribution and wish him the best in the future.”
