Donald Trump Vows to End International Crises and Restore American Prestige

Donald Trump, a Republican presidential candidate, pledged on Thursday to resolve global conflicts and restore America’s standing on the world stage, claiming he could “stop wars with a telephone call.”

Speaking at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Trump depicted a grim global situation under President Joe Biden, warning that the world is “teetering on the edge of World War III.”

“We will restore peace, stability, and harmony worldwide,” Trump declared, without providing specific details on his plans.

He assured that under his leadership, the United States would regain respect, with no nation questioning its power and secure borders.

Trump attributed the current global conflicts to Biden, even those with deeper historical roots. “There is an international crisis unlike anything we’ve seen before… war is raging in Europe, the Middle East, and tensions are rising in Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, and all of Asia,” he stated.

He promised to address these issues if elected for a second term. “I will end every single international crisis that the current administration has created, including the war between Russia and Ukraine,” Trump said. “But to achieve this future, we must first rescue our nation from failed and incompetent leadership.”

Trump also demanded the release of Americans held abroad, threatening consequences if they were not freed before he took office. “We want our hostages back, and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price,” he warned, without elaborating.

He proposed building a version of Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system for the United States, despite it being designed for short-range threats and unsuitable for intercontinental missiles.

Trump also mentioned his relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, suggesting that Kim would welcome his return to the White House. “I get along with him; he’d like to see me back too. I think he misses me,” Trump said.
