Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, Manchester City, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Real Madrid are quarterfinalists
The UEFA Champions League quarterfinal, semifinal, and final draws for 2022-23 will take place on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland.
On Wednesday night, Real Madrid of Spain and Napoli of Italy each eliminated their opponents in the last 16 to join Bayern Munich of Germany, Benfica of Portugal, Chelsea, Manchester City of England, AC Milan, and Inter Milan of Italy in the Champions League last eight.
There are no seedings or country protection in Friday’s draw, and teams that met earlier this season in the group stage can face off again.
The draw will take place at the House of European Football at 1100GMT.
The first legs of the quarterfinals will be played on April 11-12, with the return matches on April 18-19.
The semifinals will be held on May 9-10 and 16-17, respectively.
The 2023 Champions League final will be held on June 10 at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium, which previously hosted the 2005 final in which Liverpool defeated AC Milan to win Europe’s top club trophy.
