Tems didn’t just attend Coachella for leisure. The Afrobeats sensation graced the stage on Sunday, April 15, 2024, at the 23rd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, delivering an unforgettable performance.

During her rendition of the song “Essence,” which features Wizkid and Justin Bieber, Tems surprised the audience by inviting both Wizkid and Bieber to join her onstage.

Her appearance at the event followed a teaser she shared earlier on X (formerly Twitter), hinting at an exciting surprise for her fans.

For her performance, Tems rocked a stylish black beaded dress with a halter neck.

Wizkid was the first to make an appearance alongside Tems, sporting a bold oversized bomber varsity jacket with leather sleeves. Bieber joined them later, clad in oversized cargo shorts and a black hoodie.

“Wow, this is incredible,” Tems exclaimed onstage after the performance, showering praise on Wizkid as “the legend.” “Let’s hear it for Justin and the legend,” she added, embracing Wizkid.

Following her electrifying performance, Tems took to X to express her gratitude, hinting at her return for the next weekend. “Thank you, Coachella, see you next week,” she wrote. This year’s Coachella spans from April 12-14 and 19-21.
