Peter Obi and Davido Celebrate Tems’ Grammy Win

Tems has once again made Nigeria proud! The talented singer bagged the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th Grammy Awards for her song Love Me Jeje, beating strong contenders like Davido, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Asake, Lojay, and Burna Boy.

Following her big win, Labour Party’s Peter Obi and Afrobeats star Davido took to social media to celebrate her success.

Peter Obi’s Heartfelt Message

Peter Obi expressed his excitement over Tems’ achievement, emphasizing the impact of Nigerian youths in the entertainment industry.

“I am ever elated by the huge success Nigerian youths are making in various fields, especially in entertainment. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our Afrobeats star, Tems (@temsbaby), on securing her second Grammy,” Obi wrote.

He also applauded other Nigerian artists who were nominated, saying their contributions continue to put Nigeria on the global map.

Tems’ Grammy Journey

This marks Tems’ second Grammy win. She won her first in 2023 for Best Melodic Rap Performance on Future’s Wait for U, featuring Drake.
