Trump Claims U.S. Holds Air Dominance Over Iran Amid Rising Tensions
Former President Donald Trump has stirred up fresh speculation about U.S. involvement in the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran with a series of bold statements posted on Truth Social.
In one post, Trump declared that the United States now has “complete and total control of the skies over Iran.” While he didn’t specifically mention Israel, he praised U.S. military capabilities and the effectiveness of American-made weapons. “Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA,” he wrote.
In another dramatic message, Trump appeared to taunt Iran’s leadership, specifically targeting the country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He claimed that the U.S. knows the Ayatollah’s exact location but stated they would not take action—“at least not for now.”
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target… but we are not going to take him out. For now,” Trump said. He followed that with a stern warning: “Our patience is wearing thin.”
A short while later, Trump returned with a blunt, one-line post: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
These remarks come as pressure mounts around the possibility of U.S. involvement in the ongoing strikes between Israel and Iran. Trump had left the G7 summit in Canada earlier than scheduled and returned to Washington for urgent consultations. He was reportedly set to meet with top national security officials in the White House Situation Room.
Although Trump has previously insisted that the U.S. is not joining the conflict, his recent language suggests a shift. He has continued to mention a possible diplomatic resolution if Iran agrees to halt its nuclear ambitions—a proposal that predates Israel’s military actions.
For now, it remains unclear whether the U.S. will officially step in, but Trump’s rhetoric signals a potential turning point. All eyes are on Washington as the situation continues to unfold.
