Nollywood star Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has opened up about her extended break from acting, explaining her decision to step back from the industry. The actress shared that she needed time to relax, reflect, and recharge after years of working non-stop since starting her career at the age of 15.
Taking to her Instagram page on Friday, Omotola addressed her fans’ curiosity about her absence from the screen. She emphasized the importance of taking breaks to maintain creative energy and passion for the craft.
In her post, she wrote, “I know many don’t understand why I take time off movies for a few years, then come back and do it again! Lol… I see fans asking when I’ll be back on screen, but when you’ve been working since you were 15, like I have… You’ll do good to Relax, Relive, Relearn, and Recharge. Who understands & who’s following?”
