After reuniting on stage for an intimate performance last year, Nelly and Ashanti have sparked romance rumors once again after being seen wearing the same chain.
Fans noticed Ashanti wearing an iced-out Cuban link around her neck, similar to the one Nelly has been wearing at recent events such as the Grammys. They posted a side-by-side photo, which fueled speculation about their relationship status.
“They’re not slick,” one fan said, while others were excited about their possible reconciliation. “I’m totally down for this!”
This is the most recent display of affection between the former couple, who dated in the early 2000s. During a December concert in Arizona, the two were seen grinding against each other while performing “Body On Me,” their 2008 collaboration.

During her appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” last year, Ashanti was asked about her relationship with Nelly.
“We’re in a better place because before it was like…” she said, punching the air. “But, you know, we’re all right now. We had some conversations, so it was fine.”
They began dating after meeting at a Grammy press conference in 2003 and ended their relationship a decade later.
Ashanti was well aware that fans wanted to see them reunite. “There were a lot of comments,” she said. “Wow was my reaction. There were a lot of comments and a lot of people who wanted that.”
