The actress-singer and boyfriend Darius Jackson have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
The new mother took to Instagram just 48 hours after giving birth to share the first photos of her adorable baby boy with the world.
“Hey Son!!!!” she captioned the photos. “I was born during Black History Month, and I have a name to match!” LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, baby Leo, welcome to the world.”
The Nope star reflected on how she and Darius first met. He made her playlists, and her favorite song was “Someone” by El DeBarge. “We became each other’s someone and created a someone,” she wrote.
She also posted a video of herself and Darius driving home with their son in the backseat while listening to “Someone,” as well as another of them watching Internet personality Rolling Ray in the hospital.
“I’m not hiding my son from the world, I’m hiding my son from the world,” Keke explained before adding, “I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide.”
Keke Palmer announced her pregnancy while hosting “Saturday Night Live” in December.
“There are some rumors going around, people have been saying in my comments, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I want to set the record straight—I am!” she said before revealing her baby bump. “I gotta say, it’s bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you guys, but it’s even worse when they’re true.”
In August 2021, Keke and Darius, a fitness instructor, became Instagram officials. “We spend all this time together, and he’s really my closest friend, so it just becomes a thing where I’m not going to hide something that makes me happy,” she said on “Tamron Hall” last year.
