With his most recent song, “Bad to Me,” Wizkid keeps introducing Afrobeats to the world.

The upbeat song, which was created by his longtime collaborator P2J, features the Nigerian singer serenading his woman with sensual vibes and a percussion-heavy groove.

The RIAA just awarded Made in Lagos gold certification. It gave rise to the smash hit “Essence,” starring Tems, which Kanye West dubbed the “greatest song in music history.”

The dominance of Wizkid over the planet continues. He recently performed as the main act at Rolling Loud Toronto, and last month, he collaborated with Chris Brown on the music video for their song “Call Me Every Day.”

The track is released in advance of Wizkid’s upcoming album More Love Less Ego, his follow-up to 2020’s Made in Lagos, which is anticipated to feature joint efforts with Ty Dolla $ign and Skepta.
