The PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION TRIBUNAL sitting in Abuja after upholding the validity and emergence of All Progressive Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has on Wednesday slammed massive fines on the three petitioners which includes the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Allied People’s Movement, and the Labour Party (lap)

The five man panel led by Justice Haruna Tsammani awarded  this fines in the light that the petitioning political party petition  wasted  courts time on frivolous election petitions

The panel stated that the petitioners were fined in alignment with  the Judicial Act 87, sub section 390 of 1968 as ammended

The three petitioners where given different values of fines  with the labour Party taking the highest fine of 47,910, 431.87, followed by the People’s Democratic Party accruing a fine of 23, 391,001.45 while the Allied People’s Movement getting the Lowest fine of 13,675,890.00

The Judges held that the fine should be within 48 hours of the judgement into the consolidated court account domiciled at the Central Bank
