50 Cent found himself caught up in a microphone-throwing incident during a recent performance at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This unexpected turn of events unfolded as part of his “The Final Lap Tour” on the evening of August 30. Throughout the concert, technical glitches appeared to test the musician’s patience as he grappled with ongoing microphone malfunctions. Ultimately, his frustration reached a tipping point, leading to the impulsive act of hurling a malfunctioning microphone into the audience.

The event, which included surprise appearances by prominent artists like Nas, YG, and DaBaby, saw the “Many Men” artist repeatedly grappling with defective microphones. Reports suggest that he threw them into the crowd on two separate occasions. Unfortunately, one of these airborne microphones struck Bryhana Monegain, a radio personality from Power 106, resulting in visible injuries.

Images captured by The Neighborhood Talk depicted Bryhana Monegain with a bloodied forehead and facial stains following the microphone incident. Some commenters expressed their thoughts, with one stating, “He’s too grown to not be able to control his emotions,” while another noted, “She lowkey smirkin’. She knows she’s about to sue that a**.”

According to TMZ, a source close to the rapper from New York revealed that the radio host “wasn’t supposed to be in the restricted area” and was not intentionally targeted by 50 Cent. As of August 31, the media outlet reported that the G-Unit mogul is now a suspect in a criminal battery report.

It’s worth noting that 50 Cent isn’t the only artist to make headlines for such an incident. In July, Cardi B faced criticism for tossing a microphone that accidentally struck a fan during a Las Vegas concert. Initially, she was facing battery charges in connection with the incident, but the case was dropped on August 3.

Interestingly, the microphone in Cardi B’s case later fetched an astonishing $100,000 at a charity auction. Scott Fisher, the owner of the audio production company The Wave, initially listed the piece of equipment on eBay for $500.

The recent show on Wednesday was part of a tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of 50 Cent’s debut album from 2003, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’.” Throughout the tour, the musician has featured guest appearances from artists such as J. Cole, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, and Moneybagg Yo.
