6ix9ine was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after allegedly being “beaten by a group of men inside a South Florida gym,”
According to the MC’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine was in a LA Fitness sauna without personal security when he was assaulted without warning.
Tekashi was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. According to TMZ, who obtained a photo of him, he has injuries to his jaw, back, and ribs.
“Three or four thugs attacked him in a Sauna at a gym and beat him up (he tried fighting back),” Lazzaro said in a statement provided to Complex. “He had cuts and bruises on his face. When employees heard the commotion, the perpetrators fled.
Police in South Florida were called, and he was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.”

Lazzaro intends to contact the feds to ensure that 6ix9ine is adequately protected.
One Twitter user shared a video of the 26-year-old with a bloodied face walking toward the exit in socks and saying, “y’all n***as jumped me.” Other social media posts show the attack in progress, including one of the men’s faces.
6ix9ine was barred from a high-end apartment complex in the Miami area last December. According to TMZ, the rapper received a letter from SLS Lux Property’s legal team alleging that his security guard left an assault weapon unattended on the property.
. It also cited “the bounty placed on 6ix9ine’s life” and his “provocative antics” as reasons why his presence could be dangerous to others.
He was allegedly jumped at a Dubai nightclub a few months prior, with a DJ calling him out as a snitch. Tekashi advised people to “get the news right,” claiming that the DJ “got smoked.”
