Patience Umo Eno, wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno, has passed away.
The news was shared by the State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a statement released early Friday. According to the announcement, the First Lady died on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family at a hospital.
The statement, titled Unexpected Sunset, expressed sorrow over her passing, stating, “With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, after a brief illness. She passed away peacefully in the presence of her loved ones.”
