Baba Tee Admits to Intimate Moment with Ijoba Lande’s Wife, Says It Was a Drunken Mistake
Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, has confessed to an intimate encounter with Ganiyu Morufu Dara, the wife of his colleague, Ijoba Lande.
The revelation came after Lande publicly accused his wife of infidelity, claiming she left him after he confronted her. He also criticized his manager, Mary Gold, for introducing Dara to Baba Tee, despite knowing she was married.
Baba Tee Breaks His Silence
Initially, Baba Tee denied any wrongdoing and challenged Lande to provide proof. However, during a live chat with socialite Esabod and other TikTok users on Sunday, March 9, 2025, he admitted to a brief encounter with Dara, blaming it on alcohol and a game of “Truth or Dare.”
“It Was Never Meant to Happen” – Baba Tee
Explaining how the situation unfolded, Baba Tee shared that Mary Gold and Dara visited his home under the pretense of discussing an event where he was supposed to be an MC. He was unaware of Dara’s marital status, as she was introduced as a content creator.
Things took a turn when the game of “Truth or Dare” began. According to him, Mary Gold initiated the game, removing her clothes and daring him repeatedly. As the dares escalated, Dara was challenged to an intimate act, and under the influence of alcohol, she agreed.
“I didn’t know she was Lande’s wife. I only found out later that it was all a setup to tarnish my image,” Baba Tee revealed.
Baba Tee Issues Public Apology
Following his confession, Esabod advised Baba Tee to apologize to Lande. Taking to Facebook on Monday, March 10, 2025, he expressed his regret, writing:
“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande. Never knew Dara was your wife… Hmmm, I fear women.”
His apology has since sparked mixed reactions, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the entire incident.
