Rapper Blueface from Los Angeles was detained in Las Vegas on accusations of attempted murder on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the 25-year-old, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was apprehended outside a store in the 300 block of Hughes Center Drive at around 2:40 p.m. He will be taken into custody at the Clark County Detention Center on warrants for firing a gun at or into an occupied structure and attempted murder with a deadly weapon, according to the police.

According to authorities, Blueface was sought in relation to a shooting that occurred on October 8 in the 6000 block of Windy Road.
Law enforcement did not immediately offer any information.
Blueface shared a clip from the music video for his song “Better Days 2 (Pain In The Ghetto)” on his Instagram page in the days following the purported shooting. A jail scene from the music video features the rapper dressed in an orange jumpsuit.
“One suspect, two victims, harmed all three they youngsters / Four, five shots, all it needed to get ’em 40 years,” the song’s first line reads.
Blueface is seen with his fiancée in a video of his arrest that was obtained by TMZ on Tuesday night. A few seconds later, men in civilian attire who might have been plainclothes police officers handcuff the rapper and hold him against a wall before walking away.
