Reports indicate that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike on southern Beirut. A source linked to the group confirmed his body had been recovered intact after the strike, which also resulted in the death of Ali Karake, a key Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon. However, details about others who may have been killed in the attack have not yet been disclosed.

In addition, Israeli military sources confirmed that they killed Nabil Kaouk, another senior Hezbollah figure, during a series of strikes amidst escalating conflict between the two sides. Kaouk had been a member of Hezbollah since the 1980s, previously serving as deputy director general of the southern region.

Hezbollah has not commented on Kaouk’s death, but supporters have been posting tributes for him online. Israeli military claims that over 20 Hezbollah operatives of various ranks were also killed during the airstrikes.

The Israeli army later reported hitting around 120 Hezbollah targets, including key infrastructure and operational headquarters deep inside Lebanon.

In a related event, Israeli airstrikes in Yemen, targeting Iran-aligned Huthi rebels, reportedly killed four individuals and injured over 30, as rescue teams continue searching for missing persons. The strikes focused on areas including the port city of Hodeida, part of the regional conflict involving Hezbollah, Hamas, and other Iran-backed groups.
