Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah are among the six standout names in the running for the 2025 PFA Players’ Player of the Year award.

Fernandes, despite a tough season for United—who ended the league campaign in 15th—earned his place on the shortlist thanks to a solid personal performance, finishing with eight goals and ten assists.

Salah is chasing history, hoping to claim the prestigious title for a third time. The Liverpool forward delivered yet another electric season, racking up 29 goals and 18 assists as the Reds clinched the Premier League crown.

Joining him on the list is teammate Alexis Mac Allister, whose steady midfield presence played a key role in Liverpool’s successful campaign.

Newcastle’s Alexander Isak also earned a spot after an impressive run of form, scoring 27 goals in 42 matches and helping the Magpies secure Champions League football.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Arsenal’s Declan Rice round out the nominations. Palmer impressed with his creativity and attacking flair, while Rice was a dominant force at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield.

The winner of the 2025 PFA Players’ Player of the Year will be announced at the awards ceremony on August 19 in Manchester.
