Cameroon kept their hopes alive with a 2–0 win over Mauritius in Saint-Pierre. Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu opened the scoring in the 57th minute, while Bryan Mbeumo added a late second in stoppage time.

Cameroon must now beat Angola in Yaoundé to stand any chance of topping the group. If Cape Verde win their final match, the Indomitable Lions will have to rely on finishing among the best runners-up to advance to the playoff stage.

In Lobamba, Eswatini seemed poised to end their winless run after Justice Figuareido netted twice early in the second half, but Angola, led by French coach Patrice Beaumelle, fought back. Jonathan Buatu pulled one back before Papel Ary equalised with a header ten minutes from time, keeping Eswatini winless and Angola’s slim hopes alive.
