Camidoh, the talented rapper and singer from Ghana, known for his hit single “Sugarcane” in 2022, opens up about his new body of work titled “Love Is The Answer” (L.I.T.A.), shedding light on the subject of PTSD.
“This project holds a special place in my heart. I’ve dedicated about two years of hard work to it, and these songs delve into the issues I’ve personally faced, especially the first track, ‘PTSD,'” Camidoh shared.

He further explained, “It’s a reflection on the struggles faced by young individuals, particularly creative entrepreneurs, as they strive to make their dreams a reality. Sometimes, amidst the silence of the night, haunting memories and traumas resurface, and you find yourself dealing with them all alone.”
Camidoh, aged 29, emphasized the importance of authenticity and gaining people’s support. He believes that when others recognize your humanity, they tend to be more forgiving when mistakes are made.
In addition, his music carries another significant message – the celebration of natural beauty. This inspiration is evident in his collaboration with Stonebwoy on the song “Brown Skin Girl.”
“I’ve always advocated for self-acceptance and embracing one’s true self, particularly for African women. It’s about loving and appreciating oneself just as they are,” Camidoh expressed passionately.
