Chika took to social media on Thursday (June 1) to describe her recent flight experience. The Alabama rapper blasted a woman and two children who woke her up in the early morning hours in a series of tweets.
“To the lady next to me who thought it would be a good idea to buy yourself and your twin infants first class seats on a red-eye flight, who just woke me up by bringing your screaming bastard to OUR seats to soothe her, I just bought $34 Wi-Fi at 4 a.m. to call you a stupid b**ch,” read the first message.
In addition to the outpouring of criticism directed at Chika, it was revealed that Zonnique Pullins, the daughter of Tameka “Tiny” Harris, is the mother of one of the children in question. It wasn’t long before Pullins responded with her own tweet. “Wait, I’m crying. “Not Chika boo was upset because my child was cutting up in first grade,” the OMG Girlz alum explained. “You [should’ve] just sat there and been mad, babe.”
Chika shared a lengthy message through an Instagram Story today (June 3), along with several short videos that echoed her overall feelings on the matter, following some reactions through her now-private Twitter account.
“Stay mad,” began the “Industry Games” talent. “Getting upset at someone for ranting about an annoying baby who woke them up at 4 a.m. is a cute way to feel morally superior to someone.” You literally aren’t. As I previously stated, I was not rude to her, and that is all right with me. I have the decency to be upset somewhere else. My only blunder was posting it on Twitter.”
“I don’t feel bad because the response is disproportionate to the mistake,” she continued. But, you know… do your thing, internet. You already don’t like me. This isn’t a new thing.”
