Davido, a popular Nigerian singer, has revealed how he met his wife, Chioma, and how they have stayed in touch over the years.
Davido revealed in an interview with YouTuber and vlogger Tayo Aina that their fateful meeting happened while they were both students at Babcock University.
Davido was studying music at the time, while Chioma was studying Economics.
“I had been in school for about a year when my career took off,” Davido recalled vividly. It was during this time that I first saw my wife. That was a day I’ll never forget.”
“I was sitting in a Prado when I noticed a girl walking behind me.” Chioma was holding her bag. I instantly knew I was drawn to her.”
Davido turned to his friend Lati and said, “Lati, my friend, I really like that girl.” Please contact her on my behalf.”
Although she initially did not respond to the call, fate eventually brought Chioma to Lagos, where they eventually met. “When we finally connected, I knew she was the one,” Davido recalled. “I told myself, ‘Yes, I’ve found you.'”
Davido and Chioma’s love story began with these encounters, which led them to where they are now.
