When it comes to their relationship, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are shaking it off — the singers have broken up, according to TMZ.
According to a source close to the situation, Taylor is indeed “single” again, though it’s unclear why they’ve broken up.
Matty showed up at all three of Tay Tay’s Nashville concerts last month, right after news broke that she and Joe Alwyn had split after six years together.
When Taylor wasn’t performing, Matty and Taylor became inseparable. We saw them out and about in NYC several times, double dating with her friends and going to a recording studio.
Matty was even caught sneaking into Taylor’s New York townhouse and hanging out with Taylor’s father during her Eras Tour stop in Philadelphia.
Although they have only recently begun dating, the musicians have known each other since 2014… when Taylor attended a concert for his band, in 1975. They haven’t been seen together in public since May 25, when they went on a dinner date.
We don’t know when the breakup occurred, but The 1975’s performance in Denmark this weekend was a big hint that things were over.
Matty had a history of kissing random people in the crowd, but during a January concert that Taylor was attending, he said he was calling it quits.
So, during this weekend’s concert, he locked lips with a security guard. Talk about being single and ready to date!!!
