On Sunday morning, DDG took to Snapchat to address some fan questions about himself and Halle Bailey. When asked if he has a daughter, the Michigan-bred content creator responded, “No, I don’t understand why people are so invested in our lives. Mind your business. Go outside. Do something fun in your backyard.”
He continued, “I appreciate my supporters, but you don’t really know me. Whatever is happening in her life or mine won’t change yours.” He urged everyone to focus on themselves in the coming year, saying, “Let’s focus on ourselves in 2024 and stop worrying about others.”
Later in the video, he expressed frustration with a fan who claimed to like him for Halle. He said, “I don’t care if you like me for her. Why does it matter so much? Halle is not your daughter.”
This isn’t the first time DDG has addressed fans discussing his relationship with Halle on social media. In a recent interview with REVOLT, he talked about dating Bailey and ignoring negative opinions. “We don’t pay attention to that. It’s the internet, it’s Twitter, they aren’t real people to me,” he explained.
“We’re best friends. We’re surprisingly very alike, and we can kick it. She’s fun and funny – humor and personality matter a lot to me,” he shared about their chemistry. “We can act like boyfriend and girlfriend, but beyond that, we can just chill, and that’s the best part.”
DDG also mentioned spending $500,000 on Bailey for Christmas, documenting the day on his Snapchat account.
