After falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building, Flo Rida’s 6-year-old son was rushed to the hospital.
The incident occurred on March 4 at their shared apartment in Jersey City, according to a lawsuit filed Monday by the child’s mother, Alexis Adams. Zohar Dillard fell from the window of a building in Jersey City, New Jersey, onto the concrete pavement below.
The child is still in intensive care after suffering serious injuries such as a lacerated liver, collapsed lungs, foot and pelvic fractures, and internal bleeding.
Adams claims in legal documents obtained by TMZ that the building’s windows were dangerous. She is suing the owners, managers, a construction company, and a window installation company she claims are responsible for the fall.

“I am devastated, angry, and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries as a result of our landlord’s willful negligence and others involved in failing to take necessary safety measures,” she told Page Six.
Adams is suing for compensation to cover the cost of her son’s medical treatment. Zohar was born with hydrocephalus, a neurological condition characterized by an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within cavities in the brain.
The lawsuit does not include Flo Rida. The Daily Mail reported in 2018 that he had never met his son. Adams has sole custody of Zohar and claims that Flo Rida did not pay for the child’s education or insurance.
Flo Rida won a major legal victory against energy drink maker Celsius in January. He was awarded $82 million in damages for breach of contract in connection with a 2014 endorsement deal.
