Haley Pullos, a “General Hospital” actress, was arrested on suspicion of DUI in April after allegedly causing a wrong-way crash on the 134 Freeway in Pasadena.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on April 29 as Pullos was driving eastbound on the freeway near Orange Grove Boulevard. She and another driver were injured. Pullos abruptly swerved into the opposite lane, colliding head-on with another vehicle.

Pullos, 24, was trapped inside her mangled vehicle and had to be rescued by Pasadena Fire Department personnel. Both she and the other driver were injured and taken to hospitals, but the extent of their injuries and current conditions were not immediately known.

The CHP eventually arrested Pullos on suspicion of “driving under the influence of alcohol and driving the wrong way on a freeway, causing injury.” Investigators also revealed that Pullos was involved in a separate hit-and-run incident prior to entering the freeway, but no further details were provided.

Pullos is best known for her role as Molly Lansing-Davis in “General Hospital,” where she has been since 2009.

Pullos’ role has been temporarily recast, according to Soap Opera Digest, citing Pullos’ medical leave. “Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I’m doing okay, but I’m going to need a little time to recover,” Pullos said in a statement to the publication. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”
