Tickets for the 2025 Glastonbury Festival sold out in just 35 minutes on Sunday, with over 200,000 people securing their spots at one of the world’s most iconic music events, set to take place in the scenic southwest of England.

Sales began at 9:00 a.m., and by 9:35 a.m., festival organizers announced that all tickets had been snapped up. They thanked successful buyers and expressed regret to those who missed out, adding that a resale of canceled or returned tickets would happen in spring 2025.

Last year’s festival featured headline performances by Dua Lipa and Coldplay, and preparations are already in motion to lock in the lineup for 2025. The festival, scheduled from June 25 to 29, promises a mix of legendary acts, fresh talent, and unforgettable moments.

The vibrant fields of Worthy Farm in Pilton, dotted with thousands of tents, have become a hallmark of British summer since the festival’s debut in 1970. Alongside the 3,000 performances planned across 80 stages, attendees can look forward to all-night parties, art installations, and festive parades that make Glastonbury a cultural phenomenon.

Tickets for the upcoming event were priced at £373.50, and despite the steep cost, the demand remains unmatched, reflecting the festival’s legendary status.

Glastonbury, affectionately called “Glasto,” traces its roots back to the counterculture of the 1960s. It began as the Pilton Festival, headlined by glam rock pioneers T.Rex. Over the decades, it has hosted legends like David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Stormzy, and Elton John, who gave his final UK performance there in 2023.

Looking ahead, organizer Emily Eavis has confirmed that the festival will take a break in 2026 to allow the farmland to recover, making 2025 an unmissable experience for music lovers.
