Coach Ruben Amorim kicked off his tenure as Manchester United’s new manager with his first training session on Monday, marking the beginning of his journey with the Red Devils. Despite a smaller squad due to several players being away on international duty, Amorim still had key figures involved, including young talent Kobbie Mainoo, forward Amad Diallo, experienced defender Luke Shaw, left-back Tyrell Malacia, and highly regarded prospect Leny Yoro.

Amorim’s first official match in charge will take place this Sunday, with Manchester United set to face Ipswich Town in the Premier League. The 39-year-old coach steps into the role at a challenging time for the club, which currently finds itself in 13th place in the league after a series of underwhelming results. He takes over from Erik ten Hag, who was dismissed shortly before the international break due to the team’s inability to meet expectations.

Meanwhile, Chelsea received a welcome boost in their preparations for their upcoming Premier League match against Leicester City. Three key players—Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill, and Jadon Sancho—returned to first-team training on Monday after recovering from injuries.

Chelsea, currently in a strong third place in the Premier League, have enjoyed an impressive start to the season under new manager Enzo Maresca. However, their squad has been dealing with a few injury setbacks. After a 1-1 draw with Arsenal, Malo Gusto and Romeo Lavia were both forced off late in the game, resulting in their absence during international duty.

Palmer and Colwill had initially played against Arsenal but were later withdrawn from the England squad due to minor injuries. Additionally, Wesley Fofana missed international duty as he continues to manage a knee issue sustained in the match against Arsenal.
