GloRilla is responding to criticism about her search for an assistant.
The Grammy-nominated rapper announced earlier this week that she was looking for a personal assistant. According to the job description, she will be responsible for managing her calendar, booking travel, running errands, organizing meals, and other duties. The position pays $550 per week or slightly more than $28,000 per year.
GloRilla described the job as “literally da easiest job in da world” on Facebook.
But she faced criticism for earning what some thought to be a meager income.
GloRilla responded to people who had complained about the pay on Instagram Live by noting that the position didn’t involve much effort and that, in addition to the $550, numerous expenditures, such as travel, were paid.
The first thing she said was, “Your journey and flights are paid for. “Pay for your own flights and travel if you want a bigger salary, and find out how much those 500-dollar-ass plane tickets cost. Bitch, do you believe I’ll be paying you $1200 every week? I travel by plane every day. You believe I will pay $500 each day in addition to your salary for your flight? No, it doesn’t operate that way.

She went on to defend the sum. Half of the things on that list are optional, according to Glo. It is genuinely the simplest thing in the world. It’s very easy and not too difficult.
Among those who appeared to concur that the compensation was reasonable was Lil Duval. The comedian tweeted, “Folks truly claiming $550 a week to be glorilla assistant ain’t enough.“Y’all want a CEO wage for an entry-level job, right?
Folks really saying $550 a week to be glorilla assistant ain’t enough. Y’all poasses want ceo salary for an entry level position 😂😂😂😂😂

With the release of her EP Anyways, Life’s Great… and her first Grammy nomination for “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” GloRilla ended the year on a high note. Her “Tomorrow 2” with Cardi B collaboration was also one of JAY-top Z’s songs of 2022.
