The Ultimate Self-Care Routine: Pamper Yourself Like a Pro

Step 1: Set the Mood

Light a candle, start a relaxing playlist, and add some essential oils to your diffuser. Pour yourself a tall glass of cucumber water or fresh juice. Lay out a luxurious robe or comfy loungewear and prep all your shower essentials like body scrub and hair mask.

Step 2: Begin in the Shower

Start by giving your skin a thorough scrub. If you shave, do it after the scrub. Wash your hair and apply a conditioning hair mask.

Step 3: Prep for a Tub Soak

With the hair mask still in, put on a shower cap and rinse out the shower. As the tub fills, cleanse your face, exfoliate with a facial scrub, and apply a face mask.

Step 4: Relax in the Tub

Soak in the tub while enjoying your face and hair masks. This is your time to unwind completely.

After your soak, drain the tub and take a final shower to rinse off your hair and face masks. If you’re doing a foot peel, now is the perfect time to put on your peel socks (usually worn for about an hour).

Apply leave-in conditioner, brush out your hair, and secure it with a spa headband to keep it out of your face.

Step 8: Complete Your Facial

Use a Microderm tool if you have one, followed by applying serum with a jade roller. Finish with a rich moisturizer and under-eye gels (leave these on for at least 10 minutes).

Step 9: Relax

While waiting for the foot peel and eye gels to do their magic, relax in bed or on the couch with some meditation or soothing music. You can gently rub in the eye gel after the time is up, but be sure to rinse your feet after removing the peel socks.

Step 10: Finishing Touches

Now’s the time for a mani/pedi or simply to congratulate yourself on a successful self-care session!
