I Don’t Look Up To My Colleagues – Whitemoney

BBNaija star and musician Hazel Oyeye Onou, known as Whitemoney, recently discussed his musical journey in an interview with Doyin David.

Whitemoney boldly declared himself the ‘big 1’ in the music industry, asserting that no other Nigerian artist can rival his musical talent.

He shared that he no longer concerns himself with criticism, believing that many Nigerian artists lack lyrical depth. Whitemoney explained, “I created my own unique sound. I don’t compare myself to others. I’m not saying I’m the best, but no one is better than me. My music stands alone. When people criticize me, they’re actually doing me a favor.”

He added, “Keep the criticism coming. I don’t like being confined to one style. I don’t care about being part of the ‘big 3’. All I know is that I’m the ‘big 1’. No one can match my talent. What I’m about to do in the industry will be groundbreaking. I won’t just be an artist, I’ll be a business force too.”
