Anita Akuffo, a renowned Ghanaian Media Personality, recently shared her experience dealing with an ex-boyfriend who nearly hindered her pursuit of passion. The media luminary revealed on Instagram Stories that her former partner opposed her decision to pursue a path beneficial to her career.
Anita recounted how, upon reaching level 200, she aspired to participate in the Ghana Institute of Journalism’s Miss Malaika Pageant. She believed it would serve as a gateway to realize her television aspirations, a dream she had long cherished.
However, during discussions, her partner vehemently objected to the idea, persisting in his disapproval even after she highlighted the potential benefits of participating in the pageant. He even presented her with an ultimatum, forcing her to choose between him and her profession. Ultimately, Anita prioritized her career and proceeded to audition for the Miss Malaika Pageant.
Encouraging young women, Anita urged them to surround themselves with supporters of their dreams.
