Halle Bailey managed to keep her pregnancy private from the internet until she was ready to share the news with her fans. Despite the questions and rumors circulating, she and DDG skillfully evaded them until they were prepared to reveal the truth.

Recently, Bailey garnered attention for unveiling a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a photoshopped image she posted to conceal her belly. One fan expressed frustration, stating, “People aren’t upset she hid her pregnancy. They’re annoyed she went to lengths to deceive and gaslight about it. Then, she mocked and labeled them as desperate. Now, she expects those ‘desperate’ individuals to know every detail.”

Bailey responded to the tweet, clarifying, “I never lied or explicitly mentioned it, sweetie; joking about my nose was the extent of it. I can’t grasp why you’re upset that I prioritized my peace. Wouldn’t you do the same? I’ll share my pictures now because my son is here safely; if you don’t want to see them, just keep scrolling, darling. God bless you!”

One user commented, “Halle, baby, you rocked it. You didn’t mention the baby before, so why speak up now? Keep your joy private. We’re not interested.” The lead star of The Little Mermaid responded, “If you’re not interested, why reply, darling? Just focus on living your best life and ignore mine.”

Following her two witty yet firm replies, she humorously added, “[Laugh out loud], my hormones have been on 10 recently, so I’m gonna go back to staying off Twitter. Love you all.” The multitalented singer and actress sparked excitement among fans by hinting at new music post-Grammys. When a fan inquired about updates on her new tunes, Bailey responded, “Yes, [baby], after [the]Grammys.”
