Megan Thee Stallion’s latest track, “HISS,” has stirred up discussions among fans, particularly regarding its content, which some believe takes aim at Drake, Tory Lanez, and notably, Nicki Minaj.

As fans anticipate Minaj’s response to the subtle jabs on social media, the Tina Snow emcee was spotted at a costume party in Los Angeles, where things heated up between her and Victoria Monét as they danced to Monét’s Grammy-nominated hit, “On My Mama.” Meg also showcased her new track, dressed in an all-white outfit.

One fan empathized, “The girl faced adversity, yet her own community turned it into a spectacle! Keep shining, Meg!!” Another commenter predicted, “This will unsettle the powder keg; she’ll be back high as a kite in 30 minutes.” Social media users appear divided on whose side they’re on.

On Saturday (Jan. 27), Nicki Minaj tweeted, “You scary-a**, psy-a, broke-a** [h**]. Scared of me putting a song out but trying to spar with the [motherf**king] QUEEN. Lied on yo DEAD, [Megan Thee Stallion].”

Shortly after, she expressed, “The girl hasn’t been streamed in 84 years. Her team doesn’t want me to release [because]they know those numbers will expose her deceptive actions, and SHE knows I have evidence of what SHE DID! And after she allowed HER BEST FRIEND TO BE BULLIED, ATTACKED, AND RIPPED APART WHILE KELSEY WAS PREGNANT [WITH] HER FIRST CHILD??? After she was involved with her best friend’s partner?!?!! It wasn’t enough?!? But this is supposed to be your girl, right? Any MOTHER siding with this woman, may GOD STRIKE YOU DOWN. They don’t want me to release [because]she needs another week for ghostwriting! I’ve had the song/beat for six years. Unlike a hit JUJUEATDK for ST! What a cowardly individual.”

Minaj’s Megan Thee Stallion-targeted record “Bigfoot” is slated to release on January 28 at 3 PM PST.
