In a significant acknowledgment of the Ghana Police Service’s leadership, Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, has lauded Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), as the most exemplary leader the country has seen in this capacity.

Speaking at the 91st Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, attended by members of the Police Management Board, Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih highlighted the notable improvements and heightened efficiency within the Police Service under Dr. Dampare’s tenure.

Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih expressed deep admiration for Dr. Dampare’s leadership qualities, remarking, “One of the best things Allah has done for us in this country is to give us Dr. Dampare as IGP at this particular point in time.” He further emphasized, “He is one person who has done everything to elevate the image of the Police Service in Ghana.”

He called upon all Ghanaians to unite in supporting and safeguarding Dr. Dampare against any detractors who may seek to hinder his contributions to the nation. “Our current IGP has been exceptional, and everyone is witnessing the benefits of strong leadership. I pray for Allah’s blessings on him and his team leading the police service,” Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih added.

Furthermore, Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih urged other leaders and the political class to extend their support to the police service as it continues its journey of transformation. He emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in facilitating the success of the police force and ensuring the ongoing safety and security of the nation.

The commendation from the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana underscores the widespread acknowledgment of Dr. Dampare’s leadership accomplishments and the positive influence he has exerted within the Police Service.
